Location
Base location: South West London - Kingston - KT13BW, covering the wider area across South London and potentially North London.

Hours
38 hours per week, 07:30 – 15:36, Monday-Friday.

Salary
Up to £36,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

About the Role
We are hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Strategic Field Technician to join us permanently. This role will support the Strategic Network Upgrade program across the South London area. You will take ownership of Network Upgrade projects, support team members, and provide cover for projects during leave. Your responsibilities will include supporting network activities during asset failures, ensuring water quality compliance, minimizing supply interruptions, and developing working relationships with other teams across the clean water business. You will also act as a local network expert for isolation and rezoning, investigate clean water network issues, and support the Network Asset Maintenance during Network Events.

Experience
Good knowledge of the processes of water networks is desirable. Relevant water network knowledge/experience is highly desirable to ensure that Permit to works, mains isolation packs, and guided method of works for respective network operations are understood and implemented as per process.

About you
You should be able to work under your own initiative to deliver specified work streams within SLAs, manage overtime usage on a controlled basis, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A high level of attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications
Competent at using appropriate company IT Systems and office-based software, with preferred experience in GIS, Z-One, Sample Manager, and MS Teams.
