About the Role
Thames Water is calling on experienced, forward-thinking engineers ready to make a real impact on the future of London’s water infrastructure. This is more than just a job. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee the design development of several water/wastewater network projects by engineers and consultants from the initial concept design and feasibility stage to contract award. You will identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks to realise opportunities, enabling scope definition and robust pricing by contractors. Additionally, you will ensure contractors make any necessary design changes during construction, undertake the detailed design, and provide the Project Teams with the support they need during the commissioning and handover of assets. Conducting design reviews to ensure robust and safe solutions that meet business and operational requirements will also be part of your responsibilities.

Experience
Hold an Engineering HNC or a degree, or a master’s degree in a specific Engineering discipline. Be a chartered engineer or approaching chartership status with a relevant professional organisation. Understanding the principles of project delivery in process industries and Health & Safety in the Construction Industry is essential.

About you
You should have an understanding of the decision of industrial processes in your Engineering discipline. A driver's license and access to a car are required, but we are open to candidates without a vehicle.
