Hours
Full Time - 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:36 pm, plus standby and overtime opportunities.

Salary
Up to £36,840 per annum, with potential earnings increase of £8,000-£10,000 through standby rota payments and overtime.

About the Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team at our Abbey Mills Sewage Works. Your role will be to ensure that all equipment at our waste treatment works is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods. You will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites. Responsibilities include investigating plant failures, performing repairs, providing technical advice, and completing statutory checks while always adhering to Health and Safety guidance.

Experience
Time-served apprentice with considerable experience in Mechanical systems.

About you
Self-motivated individual with a disciplined approach, a desire to learn, and a can-do attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for teamwork and proactive engagement in site improvements.

Qualifications
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical engineering qualification. A valid driving license is essential. Knowledge and awareness of health and safety procedures are required.
