Hours
Full Time - 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:36 pm, plus standby and overtime opportunities.

Salary
Up to £37,680 per annum, with potential earnings increase of £8,000-£10,000 through standby and overtime.

About the Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team at our Coppermills Water Treatment Site. Your role will be to ensure that all equipment at our water treatment works is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods. You will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites. Key responsibilities include investigating plant failures and performing repairs quickly and efficiently, providing technical advice, and training or supporting technical trainees as required. You will work on various equipment including motors, gearboxes, pumps, and electronic control systems. Completing statutory checks and always working safely in compliance with Health and Safety guidance is essential.

Experience
Time-served apprentice with considerable experience in Mechanical systems.

Self-motivated individual with a disciplined approach, a desire to learn, and a can-do attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to teamwork and site improvements.

Qualifications
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical engineering qualification. A valid driving license is essential. Knowledge and awareness of health and safety procedures are required.
