About the Role
The P4A Programme Coordinator is responsible for organising all P4A events, publicity and communications during the period of this contract, with the aim of fostering stronger relationships with policymakers and increasing their awareness and understanding of the potential of agroecology. This role will enable agroecology farming organisations to access and have their voices heard by parliamentarians in a more strategic, collaborative and coordinated way. You will work with both parliamentarians and members of the Agroecology Communications Network (ACN) with support from Real Farming Trust (RFT) staff as appropriate. Tasks include contacting parliamentarians interested in agroecology, organising P4A meetings, producing supporting materials, and providing regular notices of parliamentary activity to ACN members. You will thrive in this role if you are knowledgeable about food and farming policy, passionate about the agroecological movement, and possess excellent organisational and communication skills.
Experience
Knowledgeable about food and farming policy; understanding of the Westminster system of parliamentary democracy.

Passionate about the agroecological food and farming movement; excellent organisational and time management skills; able to interact confidently with a broad range of people, including parliamentarians; proactive, self-motivated, and resourceful.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, but relevant experience in food and farming policy is advantageous.
